Why is it a good idea to have your own wedding logo?

We are of the belief that a picture is worth more than a thousand words. A wedding logo is exactly that, the simplest and most explicit way to show the world that you are a team, a clan, an inseparable couple like Bonnie and Clyde.

A new stage of your life begins and that union is something that you surely want to see reflected in all aspects of the wedding.

If you feel identified with this, then we will give you ideas of why to have your own wedding logo and tips to create a memorable one.

• 1. Something that is very yours.

When you make your logo do not forget to give it a personal touch, something that is yours.

It can be where you met, a representative place for you or where the wedding will take place. One of the logos we made was for Mónica and Álvaro, they made it clear that they wanted something representative of the place of the dinner-party.

They explained to us how the area would look like, it included an interior patio with some very iconic arches and gardens full of cork oaks and the proximity of the sea.

We developed different proposals in which we worked side by side until we found the one that really represented them, them and their wedding.

• 2. Marriage date

On the other hand, the date you met or the day of your marriage is surely a very important moment for you. You will remember that day all your life, there is no doubt that that will represent you.

That's what Inés and Pablo thought, opting for a minimalistic logo in which they gave importance to the date and decided on a more classic typography that would show a more serious and elegant side of them.

• 3. Simple or complex fonts

One of the most important elements will undoubtedly be your initials, which can be those of your names and/or your surnames. These will be the center of attention within the logo. Just like you at the wedding, these elements will center all of the attention insde the invitation.

Will you opt for a formal style? Or for something playful and daring? We can help you in your decision whenever you need it.

• 4. Shields or monograms

It can be a difficult choice, a coat of arms will give a formal and classic feel to the logo, and on the other hand, a monogram will become a more timeless image.

We recommend you chose the style having in mind its use in the invitation and the rest of the stationery, and/or for later use in e-mails, thank you cards, gifts for guests... etc.

It's use is not limited only to the wedding and related events, you can be creative with it and add it to everything you can think of.
